Why choose our Honey?

We have been in the business of beekeeping with a passion We take care of the bees in the most humane way possible. We engage our customer and interested kids, adults, groups and really anyone who seems to show any interest in bees, beekeeping, honey and what we all can do to help the bees survive just a little bit better the next year. Engagement means frequent educational sessions right in our backyard, right in the middle of the bees. Getting your fingers sticky with Honey. Getting your taste buds excited for another, a new and unique type of honey you never had before.

Hi Stefan,

The honey worked great for my son! I can’t believe it. It makes a great cough syrup. My friend who suggested it stressed on getting raw honey as against the ones packed in Safeway or Trader Joe’s. Last time when my son got cold and cough, I tried the Safeway’s honey and it didn’t make difference at all. His cough was there for another week. This is the first time I tried raw honey and saw immediate effect. Thanks to you and special thanks to your bees!

About Us

Stefan Carpentier

The Beekeeper

I am doing beekeeping and all the education around it as a hobby. I love to discover more about the bees every day, week and year. It is great to see others getting excited about bees and embrace nature and simplicity of an awesome product.

I started beekeeping after a colleague of mine started talking BEES to me in in 2007. Starting in April 2008 I had my 1st bee colony. It was a roller coaster ride from there. Some years it worked all out great, other years I made mistakes and it was hard. Persistence is in my blood and the focus on  "One Bee at a Time" is not for the lazy one. I will go out and rescue tiny bee swarms of no more than 100-200 bees, as well as swarms of the size of several basketballs and weight of 5-7lb. It's all about building trust with the members of the community and dedication to the task.

Location

The complete Honey and Bee operation is located in downtown San Jose, in my backyard. If you stand in front of a bright pink house doubting if you came to the right place, rest assured, you are. I sell the honey out of my house for local customers. This on-line sales site is a new addition. Be patient with me, I am still learning. ;-)
